Two Migration Paths

Choose the one that fits your situation.

Automatic via SSH Recommended
Provide your Odoo.sh SSH credentials. We connect, stream the database, sync the filestore, and set everything up. Fully automated, works for any database size.
Manual Upload
Download your backup ZIP from the Odoo.sh dashboard and upload it here. Best for smaller databases or when SSH access isn't available.

How It Works

A guided 5-step process. Most of it is automated.

  1. 01

    Connect

    Provide your Odoo.sh SSH credentials or upload a backup ZIP.

  2. 02

    Configure

    Name your project, select region, link your Git repo (your Odoo.sh layout works as is, and so does Doodba). Odoo version is auto-detected.

  3. 03

    Migrate

    We stream your database, sync the filestore, deploy your stack, and restore everything. Real-time progress tracking.

  4. 04

    Verify

    Access your migrated Odoo in staging mode. Check your data, modules, and filestore. Everything neutralized (no crons, no emails).

  5. 05

    Go Live

    Point your DNS, re-enable crons and email, deactivate Odoo.sh. Done.

Two-phase migration ensures consistency without stopping your Odoo.sh.

Phase 1 | Pre-Sync

Full database snapshot + filestore sync while Odoo.sh keeps running. You validate everything on staging.

Phase 2 | Cutover

Quick delta sync (5-30 min window). Final database snapshot, DNS switch, go live.

PostgreSQL MVCC guarantees a consistent snapshot even with active writes.
